GBC Registration 2009-10

Please review the registration handbook with its updated layout and information pertaining to the new registration season.

The following is a summary of highlighted changes to the registration process for the 2009-10 membership season:

• Club Registration Online Submissions: New this year, clubs now have the ability to renew their club membership online.  Clubs are welcome to register with the traditional paper forms or online. Please note that the online feature will be activated by July 15th.

• Club Membership Application Details: In order to ensure compliance with All Sport Insurance, the Gymnastics BC Board of Directors modified the registration deadline dates at its February 2008 meeting. All members considering renewal of the club membership with Gymnastics BC must have their club registration forms and payments in by August 1, 2009.  Clubs not submitting the required information by August 31 will considered not to be registered with Gymnastics BC.  Submission of information after August 31, 2009 will be subject to a club membership fee of $350.   Clubs whose membership are not received by August 31, 2009 will be unable to continue to receive the benefits of membership as well as insurance coverage of their activities.

• Change in Individual Recreational Membership Fees:  As approved at the 2008 June Annual General Meeting, all recreational membership fees will increase from $11 to $12 effective September 1, 2009.

• Individual Registration submissions:  Member clubs are reminded that they may send remittances on a monthly basis, or quarterly.  All registration for each session must be received by GBC monthly, or no later than the dates indicated below.  Remittances after these quarterly deadline dates are subject to late fee penalties. 

In addition, incomplete and/or data not complying with GBC standards will be returned to clubs and may be subject to late fees.
