The ACRiX program is a new and exciting program from Gymnastics BC that combines circus arts with gymnastics in order to offer a fun and extreme physical activity to youth. Participants in the program learn how to juggle using various props, use diabolos and flowersticks, learn basic gymnastics skills (rolls, handstands, balancing), balancing acts in groups and perform in a circus style show.
The basic principles of ACRiX are to provide a safe setting
for youth to be physically active, develop new skills, become engaged
within their communities and gain skills to help them in their futures.
My son loves coming to the ACRiX Program. He keeps asking me to get ready to leave the house because he doesn't want to be late. It's the first time he's been excited about going to something. - Mother of ACRiX Participant
