The Gymnastics BC Interclub program expands the opportunities for athletes at the recreational level. Introduced in 2002, the program provides gymnastics aged 6 and up with the chance to to be part of a team, learn and master routines and have the chance to perform. Interclub promotes a creative environment that does not follow traditional competitive gymnastics (i.e. the FIG code of points). In addition it provides a performance opportunity in a meet-type setting for recreational athletes of all abilities.

There is no formal evaluation system for Interclub, as it is a positive and fun event for all.

Clubs hosting an Interclub meet are required to sanction their events with Gymnastics BC.

New Guidelines for Interclub were released in May 2009 and amended in August 2009. The most recent guidelines are available for download. Starting in 2009-2010, there will also be an evaluation system of Interclub Events. Clubs are encouraged to fill out the Evaluation Sheet after events and send them in to Gymnastics BC for rating.
