This course is ONLY available to coaches who have completed the Gymnastics Foundations Part 1 AND Part 2 courses. 

However, coaches that have FULL Trampoline Level 1 certification (or another discipline) can take this course if they wish to become an Artistic Coach as well.  They will then just have to complete the Practical component to be fully certified in Artistic.

 
If you are not currently registered with Gymnastics BC, a $25 non-member fee will be assessed at the time of payment. This fee includes a 1 year membership with Gymnastics BC and is valid until August 31, 2010.
 
Please Note: the first GBC deadline for clubs to submit membership for the 2009-10 season is October 15th.  If you register for this clinic and the system cannot validate you as a current member, it is likely because we have not yet received the information from your club.  Please pay the $25 fee and submit the receipt to your club to request a refund for the membership fee.   
 
The New Gymnastics Foundations Program replaced the old Technical Level 1 course in January 2009.  Please view the Coaching Update Newsletter for more information about the Gymnastics Foundations program.

Age Requirements

  1. Coaches must be 16 years of age (at the time of the course) to receive credit for completing the course
  2. Coaches who have completed the two-year CIT program, may take the course at 15 years of age and receive credit
  3. Coaches who are 14-15 who have not completed the CIT program, may take the course at full price, but they will NOT receive credit for it and will need to complete it again when they are 16  years of age to get credit (they only have to pay 25% of the fee when they 'Audit' the second course - no manual will be given at the second course: they must bring the manual from the first course)

 Refunds

  1. Notification of withdrawal from the course must be received by GBC no later than five (5) business days prior to the start of the course.  All refunds are subject to a $10 administrative fee
  2. Failure to send notification will result in forfeit of registration fee
  3. NO SHOWS are subject to full payment of registration fee
  4. A full refund will be given if the course is cancelled

  2. Bring snacks and lunch
